Renting a car in Costa Rica is
basically the same as in every other country
in the world. But there are some things connecting
to having and using a Rent a Car in Costa Rica
that can be good to know.

You have the normal car rental
companies like Hertz, Avis and so on. But as
tourism and car rental is big business, the
market is very large and growing.
The result is that you can find
numerous car rental companies in Costa Rica.

rental, toyota rent a car and many, any others.
Rent yourself or use the travel
agency?
This depends on your knowledge
of the country, their car rental rules and regulations
as well as language.
If you have some knowledge about
Costa Rica and car rental and speak spanish
can you normally make a good deal yourself.
But if you only speak english and never have
been in the country would I recomenc you to
let the travel agency choose where to rent your
car.
This does not mean you can't have
opinions about the brand, size and similar of
car.

Make sure to check insurance and
taxes. Also when you rent a car, always inspect
it closely for any defects or damages in and
outside before you accept it.
If not can you be held responsible
for the damage even if you did not do it.
Credit card is alost a must when
you rent a car in costa rica, as in any other
place. Using a credit card will save you from
a cash deposit.
